Course Description
This course will stress the non-technical skills expected of a respiratory therapist. Verbal and written communication skills will be stressed.
Prerequisite(s)
RESP 1224 and RESP 1458 with grades of C or better - Must be completed prior to taking this course.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Develop professional verbal, nonverbal, and written communication with peers and all members of the health care team.
- Develop research skills.
- Simulate ability to complete a job application process from start to finish.
- Collaborate with peers, patients, and all members of the health care team to provide quality care.
