Course Description
This course is designed to give the student a comprehensive review of radiography. The student will cover a vast amount of material--some new, but most in the form of review with emphasis in the areas most needed.
Prerequisite(s)
XRAY 1346 and XRAY 2103 - Must be completed prior to taking this course. XRAY 1356 - Must be taken at the same time as this course.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate knowledge of Comprehensive Radiographic Pre Test Medical Terminology & Patient Care in the form of a written exam and third party review examinations, with a 75% pass rate for each unit.
- Demonstrate knowledge Anatomy & Physiology in the form of a written exam and third party review examinations, with a 75% pass rate for each unit.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Radiographic Positioning & Procedures in the form of a written exam and third party review examinations, with a 75% pass rate for each unit.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Principles of Radiographic Exposure in the form of a written exam and third party review examinations, with a 75% pass rate for each unit.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Physics & Equipment of Radiographic Imaging in the form of a written exam and third party review examinations, with a 75% pass rate for each unit.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Radiation Protection, Biology, and Accessories in the form of a written exam and third party review examinations, with a 75% pass rate for each unit.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Image Analysis in the form of a written exam and third party review examinations, with a 75% pass rate for each unit.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Comprehensive Radiographic Post Test in the form of a written exam and third party review examinations, with a 75% pass rate for each unit.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Hesi Exit Exam in the form of a written exam and third party review examinations, with a 75% pass rate for each unit.
