At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Apply proper lockout/tagout procedures to ensure the safe handling and servicing of electric vehicles.
- Classify electric vehicles, explain their basic operation, and identify key components and systems.
- Identify and analyze the dangers of working on electrified vehicles, explaining electrical risks and safety precautions to mitigate hazards.
- Identify emergency response roles for electrified vehicle incidents, understand response protocols, and ensure safety and coordination during an emergency.
- Explain the purpose and function of a high-voltage interlock system in an electrified vehicle.
