Course Description

This course examines the process of developing web sites using HTML5 and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). The course introduces topics such as text configuration, color configuration, and page layout, with an enhanced focus on design, accessibility, and Web standards. For a final project, students will design and create a fully functional multi-page web site using given specifications.

At the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of HTML and CSS.
  • Apply HTML and CSS techniques to configure color, text, visual elements, and graphics on webpages.
  • Design and develop webpages using responsive page layouts and implement page layout techniques.
  • Create and manipulate tables and forms in HTML for data presentation and user interaction.
  • Incorporate web multimedia and interactivity using HTML and CSS.
  • Explain the concept of e-commerce and its role in web development.
  • Create and implement projects that showcase the application of HTML and CSS skills.
