Course Description
The student will describe principles of suspension system operations to include steering geometry and front and rear axle operation. The student will utilize these principles to diagnose, adjust, repair, and replace components of these systems under simulated laboratory conditions.

At the end of this course, students will be able to:

  • Evaluate and determine needed repairs to A/C system.
  • Diagnose the temperature control problems in the heater/ventilation system; determine needed repairs
  • Evaluate and determine mechanical failures in the HVAC system.
  • Evaluate and determine electrical failures in the HVAC system.
  • Describe refrigerant storage, labeling, testing and recycling.
