Course Description
This course will provide the student with a working knowledge of all math formulas and equations relative to patient care. Students will supplement and reinforce mathematics learned within health programs. This course builds upon MATH 1141 to develop discipline-specific applications.
Corequisite(s)
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Perform basic mathematical calculations appropriate within dosage calculations.
- Convert between units of measurement within the same system and from one system to another.
- Complete problems using dimensional analysis.
- Relate mathematics to practice by offering real life medical applications.
