Course Description
This course will familiarize the student with safe and accepted industry practices as applied to rigging, rigging equipment and the proper maintenance of rigging equipment.
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
- Demonstrate the ability to tie knots and hitches.
- Demonstrate the ability to select the proper riggings equipment for a particular lift.
- Demonstrate proper hitch and sling application.
- Demonstrate ability to inspect wire rope for defects and deterioration.
- Select and maintain jacking equipment.
