Course Description
This course seeks to strengthen the ability to perceive the visual world and certain phenomena in it while also focusing on the inventive processes of drawing. It will focus on the development of drawing skills and the use of traditional drawing media such as charcoal, but primarily those in color: pastels, colored pencil, and inks and watercolor washes. • Demonstrate various traditional and non-traditional media and processes and achieve reasonable mastery of these drawing materials
  • Manipulate the visual elements of line, value, form, space, texture, pattern, and color, as well as mass and weight, volume and shape, spatial relationships, and perspective and achieve deliberate visual results as desired
